May 15th Update on COVID-19 & Golf Course Opening

With the state supreme court overturning Gov. Evers stay at home order, we have been allowed to completely open our facility including the driving range, snack bar and inside restaurant. Trout Lake Golf Club will continue to be cautious with the following guidelines:

1.  Social distancing is mandatory. Please stay six feet away from another person at all times while visiting our facility.

2.  You may ride in a cart together if you choose. However, for the time being, we will have an option of single rider carts if you have concerns and dependent of availability.

3.  The driving range is open and you must purchase the range balls in the clubhouse. Tokens are not allowed at the ball machine.

4.  Drinks and food will be available. You may consume these products on the premises and inside the clubhouse with food being the exception at the bar.

5.  We still recommend to book AND pay for your tee times online or by phone. However, there is no restriction to pay at the clubhouse.

6.  We will do our part with sanitizing all areas that are touched frequently, and sanitizing all the carts throughout the day. We have installed non-touch soap dispensers and pull-down towel dispensers in all of our bathrooms.

We hope that our state is moving forward and we will not see a spike in COVID-19 cases. However, if that does happen, the county may set new guidelines that we must follow. We will keep you informed of any such decisions.

So get out and GOLF!!!  We always have a lot of fun here at Trout Lake Golf Club and we want you to participate!!!

Thank you,
Mike Osborne

Riding Cart Policy

Trout Lake Golf Club has received word from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation that we will be able to rent riding golf carts to those with handicaps. This is what was sent out:

“Golf courses may allow for the use of golf carts by handicapped patrons. This use is limited to one patron in a cart, with a handicap placard or flag displayed. Golf carts used for this purpose must be sanitized between each use. Personal golf carts are not permitted, nor are caddies.”

So, with that, PLEASE READ THE NEXT STATEMENT CAREFULLY!  “We will allow rentals of our riding carts provided that patrons are able to show us their handicap placard or proof of their handicap on their drivers license.  In no circumstance may anyone ride along with the handicap patron.  We are happy that the state has allowed us to do this and we will follow the rules.  Carts can be pulled at anytime, so please don’t try to find loopholes and respect the rules”

Cart rentals will be paid for at the 1st tee with a credit card only.  We have our credit card reader set up so you may swipe your own card.  Please continue to make your tee times online at Trout Lake Golf Club

Our Practice Facility . . . a Golfing Opportunity?

As most of you know, Trout Lake Golf Club has a fantastic practice facility.  Due to Covid-19, we are not able to open the driving range or the practice greens.  However, did you know that we have four par-3 holes out there?  So, we thought it would be fun to open up those holes for you to go play!  For $6.50 per person, come on out and play the range, as they say.  Now of course, our greens on the range our purposely grown longer than the fantastic greens on our championship course, but if you want to take an hour and play some par-3’s and practice your short game, this is a great way to do it.  We will not take tee times for the par-3’s, so if you want to check it out, please come to the first tee to make payment with your credit card.

Season Pass Holders

You will also make your tee times online, however, you will not be required to make any payments at the time of booking.
